We visited the Gumboots Children's Clothing Store at Southland Shopping Centre, in Melbourne on Saturday the 5th Jan. After 5 and a half years, the flooring still looks great. The store manager said the flooring is great to stand and work on all day. The colour is Gris Tourterelle, DalUni. Considering tons of prams, mothers, children, grandmas, mothers have walked all over the floor the tiles are showing no sign of wear and tear and no scratches.

Sometimes distributing French made rubber has its benefits. Certainly when it comes to training our pure- bred yellow mascot called "Bounce" ! In this case, we found that 1.5mm DalUni smooth SBR rubber is perfect for protecting carpet and damageable surfaces from pet "accidents". It saved a lot of carpet and even car seats:) Dal Wee or DalOui -shall we call it- is "aimed" at people with puppies and kittens. A light weight (2kg) re-usable panel 1.76m x 0.68m x 1.5mm (in any colour) can rapidly be deployed and moved to strategic locations during toilet training. It's easy to clean with soapy water and will not retain odours- being impervious to liquids. One panel will cost $120+GST- and it is worth ...

After August 23 this year, Dalsouple Australasia's mascot - our pure-bred yellow labrador puppy will be making visits in and around the Melbourne area.
You can request her to visit you and drop off some samples (@$24.20 for 4 samples) and see if you need to update Dalsouple catalogues.
It's going to be a busy time for her with requests stacking up already!
She will start in Flinders Lane and cover a stretch over 500m per day (all she can walk) and we need to do some planning for different days with confort stops and treats in between!
So if you and your team. like Andrew Maynard Architects did.... want to be visited by me, simply email firstname.lastname@example.org and we will schedule a visit.

In 2 days time it will be 6 years since Murray's plane landed in Melbourne from Auckland marking his big shift from New Zealand to Australia. As Ann was driving to pick him up she had a call on her mobile from BBR Design in Sydney. It was our first order for Dalsouple rubber flooring in 2007 for a small office in Pitt St, Sydney.
The colour was Vert Ecossais in DalUni smooth, 9m2, 1760mm x 680mm x 2.5mm. With a 10 year guarantee, we are confident the floor will still be looking as good as new.
So in 6 years we believe we've built up the brand of Dalsouple to be well known by most architects in Australia and for rubber flooring to be coming back in vogue with domestic customers.

We have about 70 Blanc Dakota (off-white to creamish) tiles in our rubber room in Melbourne. The tiles were used temporarily in a project for about 2 months, so they have a bit of adhesive residue left on the back (which can be easily removed), they have a few dints here and there, and they have old polish on them (which can be easily stripped off and resealed). They would be great for a rumpus room with a rug, temporary floor, a cubby house, a doggy day care centre, animal shelter, holiday house, caravan, van, or for a display in a store, or could even be for a small bathroom or toilet. The tiles are 1760mm x 680mm x 2.5mm.
We might sell these off in small lots, but we get a lot of requests for people who have a cheaper budget, so these ...

We were thrilled to see Dalsouple at MONA for the first time and spend the day at MONA. The museum is amazing not only for it's architecture, but for the range of artwork and 'odd' collections.
Black (Noir) Dalsouple rubber tiles were installed in the Cloaca, (poo machine) room, on the stairs around the glass elevator and at the entrance. Considering it has had over 1/2 million people walk over it, we think it has coped very well.
We think everyone in Australia should see MONA at least once. I want to go back there as I didn't see all of it.

Dalsouple in France have given us a huge stock list so most colours are in stock in smooth texture in small quantities such as 5m2 - 10m2. Some colours such as Gris Anthracite or Blanc Dakota are in stock of about 100m2. There are also stocks of popular textures such as Pastille alpha, Granita, Omega, and Gamma. We buy these for 25% off normal price. I've attached just a small piece of our list. The 2.5mm is the thickness, Ton Pierre has 53 tiles, or 63.6m2, A Quality(best quality). There is B and C quality but the colours might be a bit off so we don't want to sell them.

We've just had a new terrazzo tile arrive that an architect has designed for a major museum in Australia. We love it! The colours are
Back ground Bleu Pastel, low density chips
25% mini triangle Bleu Glacier
25% mini terrazzo Bleu Glacier
25% mini triangle blue Oiseau
25% mini terrazzo Bleu Oiseau
You can have a go at designing your own unique terrazzo pattern. Go to the French website, to create your own download the recipe (as listed above), and send us an e-mail. If you want a sample it's 100 Euros but this comes off the price of your order once you order all your tiles.

Did you know Dalsouple rubber tiles don't just have to be used for flooring? We have many designers who have used the rubber for walling, benches, furniture. This photo below was used by Dalsouple France in Dubai for an expo. Grey and yellow always go well together.
